Job Summary:
As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients across the Area. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your primary focus will be on fostering long-term partnerships, optimizing revenue opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the area.
- Cultivates and nurtures trusted relationships with key clients—including distributors, retailers, and food service providers—serving as their primary point of contact for all inquiries and support needs to understand their requirements, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with products and services in a timely manner.
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities by prospecting with potential clients in the area.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including Operations and Marketing to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients and resolve operational challenges.
- Participates in meetings to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Analyzes sales data, market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to make informed recommendations for product development and sales strategies.
- Prepares and presents sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to management, highlighting key insights and performance metrics.
- Evaluate sales performance against targets and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and participate in relevant events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance market knowledge and networking opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities for product innovation, market expansion, and revenue optimization.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and Google Suite to prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and reports
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to travel within the area as needed.
