General Accounting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions to ensure that transactions on petty cash, revolving fund accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase orders, etc. are validated and represent legitimate company transactions.
• Ensure that adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard the company’s assets and that financial advantage is always obtained by the company.
• Ensure that the computerized accounting system is working to fully provide timely and accurate accounting data.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Ensure that accounts supporting schedules are reconciled and fully substantiated
• Make recommendations to resolve any disputes that may arise from issues from both accounts payable and receivables.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Collaborate with management to develop and monitor annual budgets.
• Prepare accurate financial forecasts and variance analysis.
• Oversee weekly/monthly Cash flow Projections to ensure a healthy Cash Position.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
• Reviews and recommends strategies and policies aligned with financial goals.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide recommendations on cost control, revenue enhancement, and overall financial performance.

Payroll

• Prepares and ensures the accuracy of payroll computation and timely release of pay-out.
• Ensures that deductions are timely and accurately remitted to concerned Government Agencies.

Compliance

• Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws.
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns, including Value Added Tax (VAT) and Income Tax Returns (ITR) and other government reportorial compliances.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations affecting the organization.

Qualifications:
Graduate of Accountancy
CPA is an advantage but not required
With at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
Proactive and has great Leadership Skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
