Job Overview: The Accounting Tax Associate will assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations. The role involves supporting senior accountants with tax-related tasks and participating in tax audits as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) tax returns for individuals and businesses, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
• Assist in reconciling tax accounts and transactions in compliance with Philippine tax laws.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and government policies affecting taxation.
• Help prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with local accounting standards.
• Assist with tax audits and provide necessary documentation to regulatory authorities.
• Work closely with team members to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
