Who are we looking for:
As an Assistant Vendor and Selection Management Manager, you are responsible for sourcing, selection, and management of vendors and suppliers for Alfamart's construction projects. Ensures the timely procurement of high-quality materials and services, maintains strong relationships with vendors, and ensures compliance with Alfamart’s standards and policies. Assists in vendor performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost management.

Assist in the identification and selection of qualified vendors and suppliers for construction-related materials, services, and equipment.
Manage vendor relationships by ensuring clear communication and alignment with Alfamart’s project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
Help evaluate vendor performance through periodic assessments, audits, and feedback processes.
Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing, and payment terms to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate with the Construction Department and Procurement Department, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services for ongoing projects.
Track and manage vendor compliance with Alfamart’s terms and conditions, including health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Assist in resolving vendor-related issues, disputes, or performance concerns
Support the continuous improvement of procurement processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced vendor collaboration.
Assist in managing the tendering process for construction projects, including the preparation and distribution of request-for-quote (RFQ) documents.

What does it take to be part of the team?

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or in a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, cost control and budget management are a preferred.
Professional licensed is required.
Knowledge of vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with construction materials, services, and industry standards.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency in procurement management software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Willing to be assigned in: MEXICO, PAMPANGA
