Business Development Lead

The Business Development Lead will drive strategic partnerships, market expansion, and revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities in the wealth tech and fintech ecosystem.
This role is essential for establishing the company as a premier investment platform in the Philippines by building collaborations with digital banks, e-wallets, and corporate partners.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong network within the financial services sector, a keen understanding of the investment market, and proven success in B2B business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with digital banks, e-wallets, and other financial service providers to expand the company reach and integrate trading services within partner platforms.
  • Lead initiatives to establish the company as a primary provider of retirement accounts by developing partnerships with corporations and large employers interested in offering retirement solutions.
  • Foster and grow relationships with investment managers, fund providers, and other wealth management entities to diversify the company's product offerings.
Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth
  • Define and implement a sales strategy aimed at meeting monthly and annual revenue targets by expanding the company's user base and deepening engagement with existing customers.
  • Develop pricing, incentives, and service bundles to attract high-value partnerships and increase customer lifetime value.
  • Monitor key metrics and develop action plans to optimize revenue, measure partner performance, and improve customer acquisition through partnerships.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer experience teams to align business development activities with the company's product offerings, brand positioning, and customer journey.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure all partnerships are structured within regulatory guidelines and comply with relevant policies.
  • Provide strategic insights to product and technology teams based on partner feedback and market needs to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.
Market and Competitive Analysis
  • Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of market trends, identifying areas for differentiation and innovation in the company's service offerings.
  • Regularly track industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that may influence the company's business development strategy.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team on emerging opportunities and potential risks in the wealth management sector.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or sales within the fintech, investment, or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading business development strategies, closing deals, and managing high-value partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using CRM and data analytics tools to track and manage partner performance.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and industry standards for investment platforms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to Php70,000.00 per month
