Job Qualifications:

• With at least High School Diploma/ College Level/Food Safety Training is a plus
• With 3 years of experiences in cashiering for hospitality industry, hotel and restaurants/fast food chain (experience in a Chinese restaurant is a MUST)
• Trustworthy and honest in handling cash.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
• Presentable (pleasing personality) with excellent customers service skills in a restaurant setting
• Practical communication skills (English and Filipino)
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• With problem-solving skills and can do multi-tasks
• Flexibility to work in shifts

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they approach the checkout counter while maintaining a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately scan, itemize, and total orders/purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Process cash, credit card, debit card, and other forms of payment.
• Provide correct change, receipts, and any required documentation to customers.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
• Count the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring it balances correctly.
• Ensure all equipment, such as cash registers and card machines, is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions to management.
• Safeguard cash and other forms of payment, following security protocols to prevent theft or fraud.
• Prepare daily reports and deposit slips as required by management.
• Inform customers of current promotions, discounts, or loyalty programs.
• Upsell additional products or services, enhancing the overall sales experience.

Additional Duties:

• Assist in displaying promotional materials and ensuring they are up-to-date and visually appealing.
• Work closely with other staff members, including waiters, kitchen staff, and managers, to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in team meetings to stay informed about menu changes, promotions, and other important updates.
• Assist in training new cashiers, if required, by demonstrating proper procedures and techniques.
• Offer assistance or additional services as needed, such as customer inquiries and requests and act promptly and courteously to complains.
