• Leads and supervises all aspects of deck crane and machinery electrical maintenance and repair operations.
• Supervises a team of electrical technicians and provides leadership and guidance.
• Coordinates the installation, operation, inspection and maintenance of deck crane and electrical l equipment.
• Identify, collate and create material requisitions for all electrical material and spare part requirements.
• Offers technical expertise and problem-solving solutions during operations.
• Perform tests on deck crane and electrical components and systems.
• Monitor job progress, maintain quality control addressing any deviations or challenges effectively. Comply with health and safety regulations
• Analyzing test results / findings during troubleshooting to determine cause of defect or failure.
• Liaise with other departments, clients, and external parties for smooth operations.
• Document work carried out and maintain records, helps with developing working instructions.
• Other related duties as required from time to time

Qualifications:

• An associate’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in servicing/maintenance of heavy electrical equipment, preferably shipboard cranes.
• Experience working in a crane-related or heavy equipment field is preferred.
• PLC system experience is preferred
