Job Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative or Customer Relations Specialist at ADL Logistics (Philippines) Inc. you will be a primary point contact for our clients within our NVOCC and International Freight Forwarding operations, ensuring their shipments are handled efficiently and accurately. You will manage the end-to-end shipment process, provide updates, resolve any issues that may arise, all while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Management

• Analyze and secure competitive rates from various service providers.
• Prepare accurate and timely rate quotations for potential customers.
• Support Sales team by preparing cost analysis.

Booking and Coordination

• Oversees the Import and Export documentation and process.
• Arrange shipment bookings according to customer requirements.
• Coordinates and communicates with overseas agents, providers, and customers.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Assist in resolving shipment issues.

Data Management

• Update shipment records on the company internal system.
• Maintain records and generate reports on shipment status and performance metrics as needed.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure that shipments adhere to both international & local customs regulations and requirements.
• Verify all documents are accurate and complete to avoid delays or legal issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Customs Administration or a related field.
• Preferably one year of experience in customer service, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Fresh graduates with no experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, including import/export regulations, shipping methods, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, carriers, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with freight management software
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
