The Role
The Financial Accountant will assist the Senior Financial Accountant in recording and monitoring all financial transactions, perform month-end closing tasks and assist in other special financial accounting-related requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare various financial accounting reports within expected time frame
• Prepare and post various month-end journals
• Manage the Australia general ledger including balance sheet reconciliations
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations of specific accounts across all Asia Pacific entities
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register
• Maintain the IFRS16 Lease Register
• Analyse and post intercompany invoices from and to other regions
• Assist with intercompany reconciliation with other regions
• Assist with any Philippines and Myanmar finance-related tasks
• Work with various teams on reconciliations, requests and key deliverables
• Assist with interim and year-end audits
• Identify, recommend and implement process improvement and automation opportunities
• Undertake other duties as required.

Reports to Senior Financial Accountant. Performance & Development Plans are conducted annually with your Supervisor. Performance is also monitored informally throughout the year.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• At least 3 years financial accounting experience
