Front Office Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Front Office Manager to lead our front desk team at Bauan, Batangas. The Front Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing all front office operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services Management:
  • Oversee all front office operations, including reception, reservations, concierge, and guest relations.
  • Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process, accurate billing, and handling of guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Foster a welcoming and professional environment to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Staff Supervision and Training:
  • Recruit, train, and manage front office staff, including receptionists, concierge, and bell staff.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on guest service standards, hotel policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Reservation Management:
  • Oversee room reservations and manage room inventory to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing team to ensure proper room allocation for group bookings, VIPs, and special requests.
  • Monitor and analyze booking trends to forecast demand and optimize room availability.
Financial Management:
  • Manage the front office budget, control expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor and reconcile daily financial transactions, including cash handling, credit card payments, and billing.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on front office performance, including occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
Guest Relations and Service Standards:
  • Ensure all front office staff provide excellent guest service and adhere to hotel service standards.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and feedback promptly, implementing service recovery processes as needed.
  • Conduct regular guest satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback to continuously improve front office operations.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
  • Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Coordinate special requests and amenities for VIP guests and special occasions.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, as well as hotel policies and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the front office area to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a front office role within the hospitality industry, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of front office operations, reservation systems, and customer service standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and labor laws in the Philippines is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
