Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic Saa S startup team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our financial records, assisting in closing the books, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approvals, and managing timely payments.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, monitor outstanding invoices, and facilitate timely collection efforts.
• Help maintain vendor and customer relationships, responding to inquiries and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data flow and provide support during audits.
• Assist in various financial projects and initiatives to support the company's growth and strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using Quickbooks, other accounting softwares and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• At least 2 years continuous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance roles.
• Familiarity with Saa S business models and startup environments is advantageous.

Technical Requirements:

• Own working computer with at least 8GB of RAM
• Licensed Windows 10 or 11 installed and running on your computer
• A primary internet connection with a minimum of 20mbps download speed
• A backup internet connection

Other requirements:

• EXCLUSIVE Full-Time work (min 40 hours per week); NO PART-TIME
• Open to work in US business hours
• Philippine residents only
• Available to start ASAP
