Primarily responsible for reviewing the corporation's internal controls and procedures. He ensures that these procedures are effective, adequate and conform to industry practices, corporate policies, and regulatory guidelines, and adhere to generally accepted auditing standards. He reviews the financial reporting systems and policies to ensure that accounting reports are accurate, complete, and prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. He also evaluates operating procedures to ensure that employees abide by company policies and regulations when performing their duties and functions.
1. Audit program preparation, planning, and execution of work plan
2. Risk Assessment and compliance
3. People development and performance review
QUALIFICATION:
1. Graduate of Accountancy, Internal Audit, or any Business Administration course.
2. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor with MBA Degree is preferred.
3. With at least 1 - 3 years of experience in audit and with people skills.
4. With a background in Finance, Accounting, Operations, Systems and Compliance Audit
5. Excellent written and communication skills
6. Keen to details and with excellent organizing skills
7. Proficient in applications, and IT tools application such as (MS, Accounting related software)
8. Good leadership and interpersonal skills with above-average analytical skills and a positive working attitude
9. Capable of preparing an audit plan and its execution/implementation
