Reliability Engineer

- The reliability engineering function is responsible for continuous Reliability Assurance for all GA products & extended reliability support to NPI. Carry out reliability tests to qualify changes in process, material and product. Initiate routine product reliability monitoring programs for all GA products.
- Core member in NPI projects, provide professional input for the de-risk experiments.
- Support on DFMEA. Work together with optical designer, electronic designer and mechanical designer.
- Evaluates, analyzes, and selects reliable materials and components for new products and technologies.
- Qualification test plan and reliability test requirement. Participate in customer specification and requirements review and then determine relevant reliability test plans based on project needs and also be responsible for the execution of tests and monitor progress of reliability and qualification program.
- Take the lead for related data collection and analysis and then produce formal qualification reports for customers.
- Follow up product reliability issues from beginning to closed, make sure that product reliability issue can be solved on time.
- Core member in CPOR projects. Evaluates, analyzes, and selects reliable materials and components for products.
- Determine relevant reliability test plans and also be responsible for the execution of tests and monitor progress of reliability and qualification program.
- Take the lead for related reliability test data collection and analysis.
- Continues ensure that the reliability of products is well maintained as when it is originally qualified. Select representative product PNs from family and provide ORT plan.
- Lead ORT samples collection and tests. Work with product engineers. Ensure ORT samples can be collected for each planed PN on time.
- Responsible for the execution of tests and monitor progress of reliability and qualification program.
- Take the lead for related data collection and analysis and then produce formal qualification reports for customers.
- Follow up product reliability issues from beginning to closed, make sure that product reliability issue can be solved on time.
- Collect shipping data and review RMA periodically.
- Reliability calculation for field FIT.
- Update FIT reports for customers periodically.
- Prioritizes—Identifies more critical and less critical activities and assignments; adjusts priorities when appropriate.
- Determines tasks and resources—Determines project/assignment requirements by breaking them down into tasks and identifying types of equipment, materials, and people needed.
- Schedules—Allocates appropriate amounts of time for completing own and others’ work; avoids scheduling conflicts; develops timelines and milestones.
- Leverages resources—Takes advantage of available resources (individuals, processes, departments, and tools) to complete work efficiently; coordinates with internal and external partners.
- Stays focused—Uses time effectively and prevents irrelevant issues or distractions from interfering with work completion.
- Provide reliability engineering support for customer complain and major manufacturing problem.
- As one consultant of product reliability technical for cross function team.
- Work with cross function team to do continual improvement on reliability test fees.
- An ESGP is co-developed and pursued.
- Department information systems, records, reports and metrics are accurate and generated on time.
- Company policy is followed regarding all safety, environmental, quality and ergonomic requirements.
- Company Technology Control Plan, IP protection and Export Compliance requirements are understood and properly followed.
- Relevant SOX, IT and Quality procedures are understood and properly executed.
- Adapts readily to changes in work caused by new requirements and/or situations.
- A high standard of ethics, professionalism, competency, and quality is established and maintained.
- Role model for Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction and Business Results.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Calamba, Laguna: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Master's (Required)
- Reliability Engineer: 5 years (Required)
- Root Cause Failure Analysis: 4 years (Required)
- Mandarin (Preferred)
