About the role
We are looking for a Senior Web Developer (project-based but possible to become full-time) to work with our US Client. You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative web-based applications and sites with end-users in mind. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong passion for programming, keeps up with the latest web development technologies and industry trends, especially with Web3 or artificial intelligence (chat GPT), and is a proactive team player who can communicate well with team members.

This is a full-time, office-based role in Cebu City. To start in September 2024.

Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging and user-friendly web-based applications, ensuring that they meet performance and functional requirements
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure that all goals and objectives are met
Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems
Keep up with the latest web development trends and technologies, identify potential improvements and make suggestions to improve processes and systems
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Requirements

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any equivalent
At least 5 years experience in web development with expertise in Javascript, CSS, HTML, and PHP
Experience in at least one web development framework (React, Angular, Vue, Laravel, or Ruby on Rails)
Experience in working with Agile development processes and methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills
The ability to adapt to new and emerging technologies
A portfolio of previous web development projects.
