Tax Manager

The position requires the ability to demonstrate understanding of domestic tax laws, ideas, and regulations. This knowledge must be applied in the preparation of tax computations/returns and attachments and analyses, as well as in managing tax concerns of business units and the tax authorities, including tax audits.
Job description:
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and BIR/BOC/LGUs about tax-related matters.
- Interprets tax sources for tasks related to compliance and advice.
- Examines and settles moderate to complex tax problems.
- Adapts current process workflow to changes in tax laws.
- Checks the work of junior employees to ensure proper and timely tax compliance/BIR tax audit submissions to make sure conclusions are well-supported.
- Produces comprehensive and understandable technical tax analyses.
- Expands understanding of domestic tax principles through study.
- Consistently implements domestic tax rules and regulations.
- Creates and evaluates tax analysis for highly complex problems.
- Makes use of tools to generate thorough and correct work.
- Uses techniques for managing tax risk.
- Finds and escalates chances for tax planning
- Maintains confidentiality in conducting tax processes and in handling tax examinations
- Keeps abreast with tax updates through relevant training.
- Overseeing and managing tax audits
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and/or Philippine BAR passer
- Must have relevant experience in tax practice tax advisory and some tax advocacy work
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in tax practice, tax advisory and some tax advocacy work with a Big 4 tax firm
- Experience in people management is an advantage
Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php90,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- 13th month salary
- Taxation Management: 5 years (Required)
