Job Summary:
This position is all about keeping up with tax laws, controlling risks, anticipating chances for planning, and effectively conveying tax issues/tax returns and attachments to Finance Group, business units, tax advisors, and superiors within the TMD.
Job description:

• Gaining and using understanding of domestic tax laws, rules, and case law in understanding the daily transactions of the Company
• Creating thorough and precise tax analyses and computations for tax compliance/return and attachment preparation
• Effectively utilizing software, technological tools in conducting tax research
• Controlling tax risk and locating possibilities/opportunities for tax planning
• Using training to stay current on technical knowledge and implementing the same in the workplace
• Discussing tax matters with the finance group, business units, tax consultants, and TMD members.
• Examining documents and drawing conclusions regarding problems with moderate complexity
• Knowledgeable in taxation to provide timely and accurate tax advice through well researched work and diligence.

Handling tax audits
Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license holder and/or Philippine BAR passer
• 2 years of relevant experience in tax practice, tax advisory and some tax advocacy work with a Big 4 tax firm is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in people management is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary
