Manual Tester Intern - Securities Processes - TalentBank 2024

Talent Bank is an original internship program of the Digital Technology Centre in Poland, which aim is to enable students and graduates to gain professional experience in IT / banking industry. The project can be attended by people who are students or graduates (up to 12 months after graduation). We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.
Join our team as a Manual Tester Intern!
In your role of Software Tester, you will be responsible for design and execution of the software tests (regression, efficiency, functional) for different type of IT systems used in process of securities management. Role requires good analytical thinking skills required to understand technical and business processes. In this role you will be involved both: in execution of manual tests and tests automation.

Description of the cluster:
The Securities Process Cluster is responsible for supporting all securities processes in the bank: starting from the securities order of our clients to different exchanges, through settlement to transaction execution. Also asset services, dividend payments, tax issues etc. are part of the new agile Securities Process Cluster. Our mission: Provide the best stable, fastest and most flexible prozess to our clients; react quick and agile to the customer needs.

Join our team as a Manual Tester Intern!
In your role of Software Tester, you will be responsible for design and execution of the software tests (regression, efficiency, functional) for different type of IT systems used in process of securities management. Role requires good analytical thinking skills required to understand technical and business processes. In this role you will be involved both: in execution of manual tests and tests automation.
What you will be doing?
You are involved in all steps in the lifecycle of a software development starting with:
- Design, creation and implementation of the software test (frontend + backend) for several IT systems involved in stock exchange process
- Definition of test plan, writing test cases, executing manual test, tests automation opening bugs, verifying bugs
- Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements;
- Analyzes of business and technical specifications
- Collaboration with developers, systems admins, business experts and other testers organized in an agile setup
- Basic knowledge of different test frameworks and test methodologies
- Basic knowledge of Postman
- Basic knowledge of Jira / Confluence
- Willingness to learn
- Experience in testing
- Basic knowledge of REST services
- Basic knowledge of ITIL methodology
- Basic knowledge of Scrum / Agile methodologies
