Program Summary
KBR proudly serves as the performance-based contractor for Base Operations Services at the Aegis Ashore Missile Defence System in Naval Support Facility (NSF) Redzikowo, Poland. This program focuses on the deployment and operational management of the sophisticated Aegis system, designed to intercept, and neutralize short- and medium-range ballistic missiles. Our primary mission is to ensure seamless base operations, directly enhancing strategic defence capabilities.
NSF Redzikowo, housing the second Aegis Ashore system, plays a crucial role in NATO's defence against missile threats. Commissioned in September, the facility emphasizes our commitment to supporting key military infrastructures. Its strategic location northwest of Warsaw, near the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, positions it strategically in European defence.
Our involvement in NSF Redzikowo includes comprehensive Base Operations Services, showcasing KBR's expertise in managing complex military facilities. The base incorporates essential infrastructure, such as administrative offices, housing, dining facilities, security buildings, and athletic facilities—all maintained to the highest standards.

Our primary objective in this crucial mission is to ensure the seamless functioning and support of the base's operations, directly contributing to its strategic defense capabilities.
Significance within the Broader Organization: NSF Redzikowo, featuring the second Aegis Ashore system, plays a critical role in NATO's defense network against missile threats. Officially commissioned in September, this facility underscores our commitment to supporting key military infrastructures. Its strategic location, approximately 225 miles northwest of Warsaw and in proximity to the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, positions it at a pivotal point in European defense.
Key Achievements and Impact: Our involvement in NSF Redzikowo encompasses comprehensive Base Operations Services, showcasing KBR's expertise in managing complex military facilities. Despite initial operational delays, the project is nearing completion, achieving significant milestones under our stewardship. The base incorporates essential infrastructure, including administrative offices, housing, dining facilities, security buildings, and athletic facilities—all maintained and operated to the highest standards.
Team Size and Expertise:
The KBR team at NSF Redzikowo comprises 127 dedicated professionals, each bringing specialized skills and expertise to the project. This diverse team is responsible for a range of services, from administrative support to the maintenance of critical infrastructure, ensuring the operational readiness and efficiency of the base.
Location and Infrastructure:
Situated at a former military and civilian airfield, NSF Redzikowo's infrastructure is tailored to support the unique requirements of the Aegis Ashore system. The facility includes a fire-control radar deckhouse, an associated Aegis command, control, and communications suite, and several launch modules for interceptor missiles. This setup mirrors the successful deployment of a similar system in Deveselu, Romania, highlighting the replicable and scalable nature of our operational expertise.

Job Summary
Coordinates and oversees the service line work of the Food Services crew, providing quality service to the customer. Provides the planning necessary for the job, including instructions to the Cooks and Food Services Workers. Maintains all equipment and cooking utensils at maximum efficiency. Plans all Food Services personnel work schedules on a weekly basis. Prepares weekly menus for timely submission to the Food Services Manager for review and approval. Other duties as assigned.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and direction to all levels of Food Service, Administrative, and Warehouse personnel to plan, organize, and manage all aspects of food service in a military dining facility.
- Ensures resources are applied to achieve the highest standards of service to meet or exceed client specifications.
- Monitors food service processes and procedures, manages budgetary constraints, and completes relevant documentation.
- Implements and evaluates training programs. Ensures compliance with client/company health and safety regulations. Plans and oversees the execution of special functions.
Basic Qualifications
- Requires previous experience in successfully managing all facets of food service and dining facility management.
- Has the necessary experience to evaluate and perform on-the-spot corrections of Food Service Staff.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must possess a passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
- Must possess a driver's license with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
- Must possess security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain.
- Be able to obtain and maintain food service medical clearance.
- Knowledge of Military (Tri-Service Food Code/TB Med 530) regulations and policies governing, at a minimum, food storage, preparation, and serving.
- Knowledge of AR 30-22, DA PAM 30-22, TM 4-41.11, and TM 4-41.12.
- Possess or be able to obtain Serv Safe Manager certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Military Dining Facility: Previous experience working in a military dining facility or similar environment, with a proven track record of maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
- Advanced Culinary Certification: Possession of advanced culinary certifications, such as Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or Certified Culinary Administrator (CCA), indicating a high level of expertise in culinary management and operations.
