Junior Financial Controller

We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller to strengthen the Consolidation and Management Information of Banco Finantia:
Main responsibilities:
  • Ensure the monthly monitoring and execution of the Group's liquidity reports (Corep report - LCR, ALMM and NSFR);
  • Support the preparation of accounting information for the Bank of Portugal (Fin Rep report);
  • Ensure interaction with the various departments in the preparation of both liquidity and financial reports (Accounting, Financial Information, Principal Investments and Treasury);
  • Contribute to other reports to the outside world (external auditors and other regulatory bodies) as well as to internal units (departments and management).
Desired profile:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in management, economics, mathematics, accounting or related field;
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar role in a leading organisation, preferably in the audit or banking sector;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • Knowledge of Co Rep and Fin Rep reporting will be a differentiating factor between candidates;
  • Solid knowledge of English;
  • Capacity for analysis, rigour and initiative;
  • Autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility.
