Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team for key projects at QIMC and Mina District in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), particularly in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring system functionality, compliance with project specifications, and smooth operations across both sites.
Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of BMS programming, testing, and commissioning tools.
• Perform system pre-commissioning and point-to-point testing to ensure integrity and optimal performance.
• Oversee comprehensive on-site testing and commissioning of BMS systems, including standalone, sequence, and graphical interface testing.
• Manage and document on-site inspections, ensuring all Inspection Requests (IR) comply with project specifications.
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot BMS graphics to enhance system monitoring and control.
• Collaborate with project teams to review design specifications and operational requirements.
• Conduct system integration testing to ensure seamless interoperability with other building systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support during system startup, commissioning, and handover.
• Identify, resolve, and document system faults, discrepancies, and performance issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all phases of testing and commissioning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, focusing on BMS systems and HVAC.
• Strong skills in using BMS tools for troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
• Experience in developing and troubleshooting BMS graphics and system data.
• Proven ability to monitor and control BMS systems through graphical interfaces.
• Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and best practices on-site.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
• For the position, candidates from regions outside of South Asia are preferred.
