Experience: 3+ years of experience and Should be Local available in Qatar Only
(Salary Detail : Basic QAR 1800.00, Food Allowance QAR 300.00 or Provided by Company), Overtime as per Job requirements.
Must have minimum secondary level of education.
Must hold a Qatar Driving License and certificate of competence and previous experience in Oil & Gas / Logistic / Transportation sectors.
With Third party Training certificate in Safe Driving.
Should be fully conversant with recognized traffic signals and be aware for standard road regulation with specific knowledge of the road traffic regulation within RLIC.
The trailer driver shall ensure that the trailer that he is working with function correctly, properly maintained and that all maintenance activities are properly documented before commencing each shift, the trailer driver must perform the relevant checks to ensure that equipment is safe to continue the operation.
Inspect chains, slings, ropes, cables, hooks and lifting gear for flaws and damage such as cracks, wear, corrosion, and report defects.
Immediately stop the trailer if it become unsafe to continue the trip.
Follow signals from assigned signalman when maneuvering the trailer into loading / offloading areas.
Apply proper lashing straps / chains to all loads on the trailer and confirm that lashing safe working load (SWL) suitable for each lifting operation.
When loading finished, check security and balance of the loads on the trailers flat bed and verify the function of the trailers brakes before starting the trip.
When lifting a load, ensure it is well secured and the brakes function of the lifting equipment is working properly.
Ensure that working area is clear of any unforeseen potential hazards before starting the loading / unloading activity.
Keep all involved persons in the working area fully aware of the loading / unloading activity.
Ensuring compliance with the safety standards and transportation department SOPs.
Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
