Job overview
The Principal works closely with the Head of School to oversee the daily operations of the Middle & High School, Grades 6-12. This leadership position is responsible for all aspects of Middle & High School operations including parent relations, faculty support and development, staff evaluation, and pedagogical leadership. This position has direct responsibility for student conduct and wellbeing and will strive to ensure that staff, students and parents understand the School’s expectations.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse community of learners in the vibrant city of Doha.
Reporting to: Head of School
Start date: January 2025 or as soon after
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- An appropriate Master’s degree (or equivalent) in leadership
Experience and Knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of challenges facing middle schools, curriculum development, middle school pedagogy, and best practices
- Line management skills and interest in school administration
- Clear commitment to wellbeing, health & safety, and safeguarding/ Child Protection
