Project Duration: 3 Years (Extendable)

Salary: QAR 6000 to QAR 7000 per Month
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Quality & HSE Specialist to join our team in Doha, Qatar, for a 2 to 3-year project. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in quality and safety management and will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all activities related to the Quality & Safety Management System. This role ensures compliance with Quality, Health, and Safety Environment legislation and supports the overall project execution by implementing and improving QHSE management systems, processes, and procedures.

Job Summary:

This role ensures compliance with Quality, Health, and Safety Environment legislation and supports the overall project execution by implementing and improving QHSE management systems, processes, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, and control all activities related to the Quality & Safety Management System in accordance with company guidelines and ensure compliance with all Quality, Health, and Safety Environment legislation.
- Liaise with Quality Management and Standard bodies, including third-party inspection/certification agencies and HSE.
- Develop, implement, and improve QHSE management systems, processes, and procedures to support business operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.
- Ensure the implementation of improvement measures and quality assurance procedures.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Plan and ensure the effectiveness of internal and external quality audits.
- Evaluate and analyze quality issues and implement systems to identify, track, report, and reduce or eliminate non-conformities.
- Actively participate at all levels, from strategy to implementation, and motivate team members to ensure commitment to the overall QHSE systems.
- Handle customer complaints and escalations related to Quality and EHS topics.
- Communicate with management and staff to ensure continued QHSE integration into core operations.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers on issues related to Quality and the Quality Management System.
- Ensure the implementation of quality improvement methods and improve process performance management (e.g., 8D, RCA, FMEA).
- Conduct hazard, risk assessments, and aspect and impact assessments to implement operational controls.
- Participate in various meetings and trainings, and update documents and records for all aspects of the Quality & Safety Management Systems.
- Report and monitor HSE and Quality KPIs.
- Develop, control, and implement quality plans and procedures, including quality assurance measures such as review, test, and validation for the project.
- Contribute to project planning to ensure that project-specific, quality-relevant requirements are considered from the proposal phase onwards.
- Advise and conduct quality-related methodologies/tools (risk management, Quality Gates, NC management, root cause analysis, etc.).
- Ensure the implementation and improvement of project quality reporting as an integrated part of project reporting.
- Manage non-conformance (NC) professionally, including root cause analysis and 8D method handling.
- Support project management in planning and securing milestone results.
- Define quality targets based on project-critical factors and define methods/tools based on standards.
- Intervene and escalate to reporting lines in functional matters where guidelines, quality-relevant procedures, or targets are not complied with, involving expert opinions as necessary.
- Identify qualification requirements and initiate training for project employees regarding quality methods, process awareness, and expert knowledge.
- Plan, initiate, and coordinate continuous improvement actions for all phases of the project.
- Ensure good practice sharing and feedback through continuous improvement workshops (e.g., lessons learned) and project assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality & Safety Management within a project environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant QHSE standards.
- Strong experience with quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, RCA, FMEA).
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a 24/7 shift rotation if required.
