Do you want to play a vital part in the design of our current and future Tax Reporting Services and Solutions? Do you have proven ability to design, develop and deploy complex platforms and applications?
We’re looking for an IT Solution Designer/Engineer to:

- design software aligned to business and IT requirements, transferring business problems into technical solutions
- work with other technical disciplines to harmonize requirements, ensuring the end solution is fit for purpose
- develop and maintain de-central software
- make sure technical solutions are integrated into our infrastructure
- partner with agile teams and a range of internal and external stakeholders to enable and drive deployment of capabilities
- drive Engineering Excellence by living a pro-active speak-up culture and showing a service-oriented, client-focused mindset
- collaborate on incident management, problem analysis, proof-of-concepts, pilots, MVP design, quality and control
- see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented from test to production
- promote agile ways of working with continuous improvement mindset
Your team
You’ll be working in the Client Tax Reporting area within a team based in Doha in close collaboration with Zurich & India based team. Our team which is global, diverse and collaborative, makes sure that global tax reporting services are provided to the clients in time and with highest quality by supporting, maintaining, enhancing and shaping the Tax Reporting IT application landscape.
Our mission: We get the most out of the technology investments for our Business Partners by collaborating across divisions, delivering on business value and outlining the technical roadmap using our combined and service-oriented knowledge.
As an IT Solution Designer/Engineer, you’ll play an important role in making sure we achieve both business and technology objectives.

As an IT Solution Designer/Engineer, you’ll play an important role in making sure we achieve both business and technology objectives.
Your expertise
- professional Java and Spring Boot development including strong test automation skills
- hands on experience in UNIX and Linux platforms including capacity management and performance optimization
- knowledge in CI build chain Git Lab, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes
- working experience with Web Apps and Web Services (Tomcat, Apache)
- Hands on database experience incl. Post Gre SQL
- experience with Azure is added advantage
- interests in monitoring, support technologies such as, App Dynamics, Splunk is an added advantage
