STEEL DESIGNER (STRUCTURAL STEEL)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Steel Designer with a strong background in structural steel design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings of structural steel components for various construction projects. They should have excellent knowledge of industry standards and software related to steel design.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Steel Designer with a strong background in structural steel design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings of structural steel components for various construction projects. They should have excellent knowledge of industry standards and software related to steel design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural steel components for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software (Auto CAD, Tekla, etc.).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with local and international standards, regulations, and safety codes.
- Conduct site visits to understand project requirements and assess design feasibility.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to verify design integrity and safety.
- Revise and update designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase to ensure proper execution of designs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in structural steel design.
- Proficient in CAD software (Auto CAD, Tekla, Revit, or other relevant design tools).
- Knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication and construction processes.
- Familiarity with local and international design standards (e.g., AISC, BS, Eurocode).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Residing in Qatar with valid QID
- Immediate joiner
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
