Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technician/Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing wheelchair lifts and ramps in various vehicles. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install wheelchair lifts and ramps in vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of installed equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with lifts and ramps, performing necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to accessibility equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive technology or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in installation, maintenance, or repair of wheelchair lifts, ramps, or similar equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical environments.
