Role description:
This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. If you are an enthusiastic Architectural BIM Modeller, can handle Revit well and have an affinity for coordinating all facets surrounding the design of utilitarian complex buildings, then this position is for you!
Role accountabilities:
Arcadis is looking for a skilled Architectural BIM Modeller looking to prove themselves at the interface of structural engineering and design management who can:

• Link various technical disciplines of utilitarian construction projects through BIM.
• Utilize knowledge and experience with the Revit programme.
• Apply good knowledge of structural detailing.
• Shape architectural designs in a multidisciplinary, complex environment.
• Coordinate the integral design with all disciplines, clients, and stakeholders under the guidance of an experienced design leader or project leader.
• Manage junior designers and designers in the Global Excellence Centers.
• Maintain a good command of the English language.

Depending on your ambitions, you can eventually develop into a technical specialist, BIM coordinator/manager or integral design leader, whereby some roles can also be combined.
Your consultancy group is Building Design & Engineering (BD&E-S) and provides solutions for construction issues. A driven an enthusiastic team of 35 staff and specialists. Whether it's a completely new building, an adaptation, an architectural dispute or advice on housing; Arcadis has the expertise for it. We conduct research, carry out project management, but also provide all the documents, drawings, reports and permit applications required. We deliver high-quality work with digital solutions such as BIM and the latest techniques and software.
Qualifications & Experience:
As an Architectural BIM Modeller, you are enthusiastic and driven and have good organizational qualities. You have a Digital Mindset and you are a team player.
Your profile:

• A completed degree in Construction Engineering at a minimum HBO level;
• 5-7 years of work experience, preferably within a project environment of construction and/or industrial projects;
• An ambitious structural modeler with coordinating skills who wants to develop further as a design and/or BIM manager in due course
• Extensive knowledge and experience of structural detailing, Revit and current building regulations;
• Knowledge and experience of Navisworks, Solibri and/or Autodesk BIM360
• Command of the Dutch and English languages in both word and writing;
• Practical attitude and a problem-solver.
