ETL Developer

Job Description
Data is a game-changer. It’s all around us. Implementing a uniform approach as to how we manage data throughout the bank allows us to enhance the customer experience, lower IT operational costs, and swiftly and correctly report to external regulators. As an ETL developer you will be working in a scrum squad consisting of a product owner, a scrum master, business analysis & technical analysis members, other ETL developers, QA and Dev Ops. You will be responsible for integrating and loading data in the Romania Data Lake according to business requirements and for providing data to beneficiaries such as Finance, Risk, Customer Intelligence, as well as regulatory reporting. Maintaining the applications running in the Data Lake, including incident management and bug fixing, is also part of your job.

What you’ll do

Development of ETL flows using IBM Data Stage 11.7 / Cloud Pak 4 Data an Oracle 21c
Understand the Logical Data Model and Physical Data Model
Understand the concepts and the business value of the data that is processed
Integrate data from different source systems in the Information Warehouse
Build Data Marts in alignment with the business needs
Perform unit testing, validate data flows
Prepare all ETL processes according to business requirements
Contribute to deployment of code changes, mappings and metadata

What you offer us

Experience with ETL processes and tools, preferably IBM Data Stage or Informatica
Experience with Data Warehouse concepts: Kimball methodology, slowly changing dimensions etc.
Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts
Experience with Linux operating system
Very good communication skills and a great team player, motivated and self-driven

Considered a plus

Python, other ETL tools, CI/CD pipelines, Versioning Tools
