ROLE PROFILE:

Join our team and help us build the future of financial services on blockchain technology. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge products and services that will transform the way we interact with financial markets. DMI (Digital Markets Infrastructure) is an ambitious project: large-scale, complex and uses a range of blockchain architecture patterns, with numerous stakeholders (internal and external) and use cases. The work is focused on the tokenisation of financial instruments, i.e. as digital assets. We seek candidates with an interest in the financial markets with experience of working on large projects. This is a chance to work on an innovative, intellectually challenging project backed by the influential reach of London Stock Exchange Group.

ROLE SUMMARY:
As part of a team responsible for implementing software development functionalities this Front End Developer will apply business requirements and knowledge of software development lifecycles to guide the development of complex DMI products, playing a crucial role in developing, enhancing, and ensuring the robustness of our front-end solutions, especially those that are critical for LSEG Capital Markets' strategic goals.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
o Design, develop, and optimize front-end software solutions using modern technologies. o Collaborate with product teams and architects to deliver scalable and reliable software. o Play a pivotal role in the product development life cycle, ensuring that front-end solutions are robust and scalable. o Engage with cross-functional teams, central technology functions, and business stakeholders to ensure software design goals are met. o Ensure alignment of front-end solutions with LSEG's technology and business goals. o Maintain up-to-date expert knowledge of web technologies and trends.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
o Computer science, software engineering, or relevant technical background required. o Professional experience in front-end software development. o Knowledge and practical expertise in front-end technologies including Java Script, Type Script, React, and Node.js. o Understanding of TDD/BDD, microservices, and event-based architecture. o Experience with SQL and No SQL databases. o Hands-on experience with Cloud (Azure, AWS or similar), particularly with deploying, managing and scaling back-end application. o Commercial awareness and knowledge of financial services (desirable, not required). o Excellent communicator, able to interact with stakeholders at all levels. o Vision and creativity to foresee challenges and provide innovative solutions. o Interest in new technology and ability to work with early-stage ideas.
