Job Description
Depending on your level of experience, the job of a senior Rail design engineer will require you to be able to:
- Supervision of field activities (surveys and tests, investigations, remediation works, etc.)
- Collection of geological and hydrogeological data
- Elaboration and development of collected data with models (i.e. geological, hydrogeological)
- Processing and interpretation of data collected on site.
- Preparation, revision and updating of environmental technical reports.
- Contribute to design in remediation and environmental safety measures.
- Coordination of external collaborators and subcontractors
- Support the PM and Project Team in the development of geotechnical deliverables.
Qualifications
We recognize that each applicant will bring different experience, but the ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of experience working in Romania in the geological and/or geotehnical design and monitoring domain,
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office, Auto CAD and geological and geitechnical dedicated design softwares;
- Strong sense of responsibility, high standards of ethical behavior an ability to work in team collaboration and take decisions;
- Confident, clear and polite style of verbal communication one-to-one or in a group, including ‘active’ listening,
- Technical/Engineering degree,
- Fluent Romanian, and preferably good spoken and written English
- Strong computer skills (proficiency in recognised design software and Microsoft applications).
