We are searching for a dynamic Sourcing Category Manager. This crucial role involves implementing and driving the Category Strategy, ensuring we have a category supplier base that aligns seamlessly with our present and upcoming business requirements. We are searching for a dynamic Sourcing Category Manager. This crucial role involves implementing and driving the Category Strategy, ensuring we have a category supplier base that aligns seamlessly with our present and upcoming business requirements. By accomplishing your responsibilities successfully, you will guarantee appropriate and sustainable management of supplier/partner risk, cost, and demand, all the while securing the quality and compliance requirements.
What you will do:

Manage the Category Structure, including content; Drive the Operating Model and Governance. - Execute internal and external analysis for Category Strategy, which includes Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Category Strategy Deep Dives.
- Trigger review of Preferred Supplier List, perform Supplier Classification, and Remap the Supplier Category.
- Uphold compliance and observe Responsible Sourcing practices diligently.
- Lead Strategy Development; Identify performance barriers and manage stakeholder relationships for business continuity.

Hardworking and proactive leader with experience from Sourcing and working with shared services who can develop an efficient organization. - Experience in building a strong team to deliver high quality services to the rest of the global Sourcing organization.
- Transformation and change management mindset.
- Business understanding and ability to build and develop strong stakeholder relations.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- To become the successful applicant, you have to be passionate about leadership and very result-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of sourcing and a commercial background, preferably also with experience in negotiations.
- Master of Science and/or Master of Business Administration qualification or similar (or equivalent experience).
- Several years' experience of leading leaders.
- Experience of working with a shared services concept
- Ability to liaise and interact with higher management, exploring solutions and anchoring the same with BA/MA management and other stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude with a consultative approach.
- Experience with change management and international collaboration.
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent English language skills.
