What we’re looking for
- We're looking for a senior software engineer to maintain and develop our Java based applications.
- He/She will also be responsible of mentoring colleagues, integrating new joiners into the team and providing guidance for team members with less experience.
- He/She will be part of our Digital Team from the IT Software Engineering Unit, a team that manages exciting projects like My Orange, YOXO, e Shop (our online shop) etc.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and develop code in a team of mixed skills professionals (frontend, backend, analysts and mobile) assigned to your team.
- Code developing in Java, Kotlin, and troubleshooting software issues.
- Work with engineers to design and implement new features and commercial offers for Digital Platforms apps.
- Active participation in backlog grooming, features definition, sprint planning and implementation - we use SCRUM methodology.
What you need to know/have
- 7+ years of experience in software development using Java or Kotlin for developing high-performance applications with Spring Boot, Spring container, Spring MVC, Hibernate.
- Design and create REST APIs using Open APl/Swagger.
- Experience in building high-quality software design and architecture.
- Previous experience in developing complex software by producing clean, efficient code.
- Good communication skills (we enjoy chatting face-to-face and over Teams :D).
