Position Overview: The Bilingual Copywriter (Arabic and English) should craft compelling and culturally resonant content across both languages. This individual will create engaging copy for various platforms and media, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand voice and guidelines in Arabic and English.


Responsibilities:


Content Creation

• Develop persuasive, clear, and compelling copy in Arabic and English for various marketing channels, including mobile apps, emails, social media, push notifications, advertisements, and other marketing materials
• Ensure all copy adheres to the established brand voice and guidelines

Cultural and Linguistic Accuracy

• Tailor content to be culturally relevant and linguistically accurate in Arabic and English
• Ensure translations are accurate, maintaining the message's intent, style, and tone

Collaboration

• Work closely with the design team to produce cohesive and impactful content
• Align messaging with visual elements in collaboration with the design team

Research and Analysis

• Research industry trends, target audiences, and competitors to inform content creation
• Analyze performance metrics to understand the effectiveness of the copy and adjust accordingly

Revision and Editing

• Revise, edit, and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and punctuation
• Accept and apply feedback and revisions from other departments while maintaining content quality

Administrative Support

• Manage schedules, appointments, and communications for the Head of Content
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations

Team Coordination

• Facilitate communication between the content team and cross-departments
• Assist in coordinating team meetings, creating agendas, and ensuring follow-up on action items

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Linguistics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Copywriter or related role, with a portfolio showcasing work in both Arabic and English

• Fluent in Arabic and English, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Strong understanding of local cultural nuances in content
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative thinker with strong analytical skills
• Proficient in using MS Office
