This is an opportunity to work on a large new build airport, that will set a global benchmark for aviation experience and aims to attract 120 million passengers by 2030 in Saudi Arabia.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the administration of standards and procedures for GIS in adherence to ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Designing GIS, database, and analytical processes including system development (hardware, software, and data configurations) to meet project needs.
  
• Overseeing the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of GIS applications, ensuring seamless functionality.
  
• Managing and reviewing GIS submissions from design consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to align with program requirements, authority specifications, and contract deliverables.
  
• Enforcing high-quality standards for GIS data submissions, carefully adhering to deadlines to meet project objectives.
  
• Playing a pivotal role in facilitating and supporting the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and GIS applications for enhanced project efficiency.
  
• Serving as the primary interface between authorities and stakeholders, facilitating GIS information exchange processes, and ensuring seamless communication.
  
• Consolidating program-wide GIS data into a unified, reliable source of truth to enhance data integrity and accessibility.
  
• Advising and developing innovative methods to leverage GIS data for new applications, fostering continuous improvement.
  
• Providing technical guidance and assistance related to GIS to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of GIS applications when needed.
  
• Actively interfacing with different functions and departments to identify GIS requirements and opportunities, fostering a collaborative approach to GIS integration across the organisation.

You’ll need to have:

• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Surveying Engineer or equivalent
  
• 10+ years of related experience
  
• Proficiency in BIM and GIS
  
• Proficiency in ESRI Arc GIS
  
• Proficiency in GIS software applications is required.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills and a working knowledge of industry practices.
  
• Ability to design and maintain GIS databases and other database formats such as Microsoft Access, d Base, etc.
  
• Proficiency in cartography and map design, including coordinating systems, projections, and map scales.
  
• Ability to utilize, convert and incorporate various types of data into GIS. Examples of this data include BIM, CAD, GPS, and database files.
  
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Visual Basic, Python, HTML etc.
  
• Systems and peripheral troubleshooting skills.
