The Role:
We’re seeking a Senior Events Specialist who doesn’t just organize events but transforms them into legendary experiences by oversee all aspects of GS tournaments& events. You will be responsible for planning, organizing and execution Golf Saudi’s comprehensive tournaments and events that aligns with our objectives which foster sport communities and provide value to our target audience in delivering extraordinary sports events that captivate and inspire.
Responsibilities:
- Understand requirements for each event
- Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
- Providing line management for the Events Assistant, with duties including carrying out regular appraisals, setting clear objectives, providing support for their development needs.
- Introducing innovations to enhance the quality of events activity
- Working with the Head of Events and Engagement to develop and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the impact of events - both financial performance and delegates and sponsor experience.
- Supporting other members of the team with securing event sponsorship, and ensuring events are designed and organized to deliver agreed sponsorship opportunities.
- Working as part of the team to ensure a highly professional events management service for the organization. This includes providing advice as appropriate to colleagues across the organization concerning feasibility of event ideas, the events planning process and advice on external sponsorship opportunities.
- Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field.
- A minimum of 4 years working experience in event management/planning/directing Management, or related major; no work experience required.
- Proven experience in event.
- A proven track record of organizing successful events.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Problem-solving ability.
