We seek someone to join our growing information and tech company established as a market leader.
We are looking for an ambitious Associate Executive to join our Singapore Media Team in Singapore. As part of the Media Team, you will work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment to produce news and social media content, engage with prominent industry practitioners, and manage a sophisticated industry contacts platform.
What you will do:
· Scrutinize and maintain the accuracy of the journalist and media outlet database in compliance with Data Protection laws.
· Build, update, and validate journalist and media outlet profiles.
· Execute lead generation activities accurately and competently to facilitate relevant database updates.
· Cultivate an understanding of the journalist and media landscape, initially focusing on the Asia Pacific region.
· Update, enrich, and verify the database on both ad-hoc and formal bases.
· Adhere consistently to Telum Media’s data policies and methodologies.
· Develop editorial skills and abilities necessary for meaningful engagement with journalists to enhance Telum’s content offering.
· Participate in meetings alongside senior colleagues to enhance skills and confidence in engaging with journalists and/or hosting journalist meetings.
What we’re looking for:
· Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant fields
· Knowledge of or a willingness to learn about the local media industry
· Determined, self-motivated, with a proactive attitude to learning
· Optimistic and energetic, enjoys working in a Team environment
· Enthusiastic about maintaining standards and great attention to detail
· Proven ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
· Excellent standard written and spoken English
· Excellent data entry and research skills
· Computer literate [MS Office]
· Good communication skills
