Associate, Financial Reporting Officer

Our client, an established financial institution, is seeking a motivated Associate Financial Reporting Officer to join its dynamic Finance team in Singapore.

In this newly created role, you will be essential in performing daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, payments, client money segregations and Risk-Based Capital. You will also assist with regulatory reporting, such as preparing MAS forms, GST and Corporate Tax returns, and supporting the month-end and year-end processes. Additional responsibilities include involvement in new accounting implementation projects, system development s(uch as daily posting automation), and any ad hoc assignments related to the accounting function.

To be considered for this role, you should be a qualified accountant with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an audit or securities firm and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Proficiency in handling regulatory reporting such as MAS forms, GST returns, and Corporate Tax returns is essential. Experience with a MAS Capital Markets Services licensed entity is preferred. Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin is required.
