This position is with Tik Tok's Stability Assurance Team. The team is responsible for ensuring that the services provided by Tik Tok are highly reliable with low-latency. Reliability assurance is complex and systematic, for any massive application system. We focus on optimizing the application architecture from end to end, driven by data analysis and aim at automatic and intelligent failure recovery.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period

Job Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements & end to end designs into technical implementations and responsible for building batch and real-time data warehouses.
• Trouble-shooting of the production system, design and implement the necessary mechanisms and tools to ensure the stability of the overall operation of the production system
• Apply data mining, data modelling to extract and analyse information from large structured and unstructured datasets
• Develop and implement techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages to support architecture optimization requirements
• Visualise, interpret, and report data findings and create data reports as well

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification

• Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Solid computer basic knowledge (e.g. data structure & algorithms, SQL and networks).
• Strong coding capabilities and mastering at least one programming language (e.g. Java/Python/Golang).
• Passionate about data warehouse, ETL development, data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good communication skills and a fast learner of new business and technology knowledge.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build rapport across teams and stakeholders.
