Executive, Business Development & Conduct

The Business Development and Conduct Executive will primarily drive business development activities with Brand Partners in Singapore and ensure proper business conduct and ethics are complied with in Singapore.
He/She will create programs and support Brand Partners to grow their Young Living business in Singapore, through enrollment, retention, and duplication. This would include corporate-created programs as well as Brand Partners’ initiatives that align with corporate strategies and goals. In addition, it is the responsibility of the incumbent to provide the platforms, tools, education and coaching necessary for the Brand Partners to leverage on these programs.
The incumbent will also act as a subject matter expert with regards to Organisational Policies & Procedures as well as other Compliance matters, hence ensuring that conduct of Brand Partners is in line with the said Policies & Procedures through ongoing efforts of Conduct Education while other Compliance tasks are to support the company’s growth from a compliance perspective.
He/She must vigilantly monitor potential/existing violations and perform the necessary duties to train, communicate, educate, and apply the corrective measures as disciplinary actions. The incumbent must act on good faith to be an advocate and maintain a level playing field for the Brand Partners. This includes being well-versed in regulatory guidelines, mitigate unauthorized selling of the Company’s products listed on a selling/auction site, regular works of enforcements performed in order to safeguard the Brand Partners’ business, overall sales, customer growth as well as the Intellectual Property of the Company.
Business Development
  • Develop close working relationships with Leaders and Brand Partners to ensure success in delivering desired business results
  • Establish sales-related activities such as sales programs, challenges, contests, events and ad-hoc initiatives
  • Provide insights to analytics from sales activities and bridge the gaps from the results to drive desired behavior and goals
  • Identify potential Brand Partners as builders in the Young Living business
  • Participate in sales coaching to understand Brand Partners’ challenges and with the goal to increase and support sales pillars such as personal enrollments, retention, rank advancements, and group sales volumes
  • Deliver sales trainings which support sales-related activities identified
  • Partner with all Global, regional, and local stakeholders to deliver on sales goals
  • Accountable for delivering desired ROI in all sales decisions and programs tasked to lead
  • Maintain People Leadership skills both internally and in the field
Events
  • Conceptualize, manage, and plan a broad range of Young Living Singapore events that meets company’s key objectives and generate effective ROI
  • Provide consultancy and overall support in the area of organizing and running of all assigned events, such as Leaders’ and Brand Partners’ recognition, roadshows, workshops, trainings, etc. in Young Living Singapore
  • Manage internal stakeholders in support of Young Living events
  • Undertake daily sales events-related administrative tasks
Recognition
  • Develop and execute the recognition strategy of Young Living Singapore.
  • Maintain and ensure Brand Partners’ rank recognition within all platforms and events are professionally executed with purpose and pride
  • Be the liaison between local and GHQ for all recognition-related matters and communication (e.g. retreats, conventions, incentive programs, etc.)
Conduct/Compliance
  • Ensure Brand Partners’ conduct, ethics, practices, and duplication of their business efforts are in line with the Policies and Procedures
  • Detect potential/existing violations and perform the necessary enforcements to educate or apply corrective measures as disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor to ensure that online selling violations through third party online selling/auction sites are managed through works of enforcements.
  • Well-versed in regulatory guidelines from relevant regulatory bodies to safeguard business practices.
  • Identify training needs, formulate modules, and conduct Policies and Procedures’ trainings to ensure overall conduct and ethics of Brand Partners are adhered to and aligned.
  • Perform periodic audit to ascertain proper conduct in rank achievements, sales contests, compensation bonus, etc.
  • Review training and marketing materials from internal stakeholders as well as Brand Partners.
  • Provide relevant advisory with regards to compliance matters to both internal stakeholders as well as Brand Partners.
  • Run periodic reports concerning compliance practices.
  • Work with all departments on matters concerning Brand Partners’ Conduct, Compliance and Enforcements to ensure that the Conduct team’s point of view is being communicated as practices that safeguard the Company.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
  • Possess at least a Diploma in Marketing or Business, Degree is preferable
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a large, multinational, direct selling organization, of which minimum 2 years’ direct experience developing relationships with field leaders and/or in ethics/compliance roles.
  • Experience in working directly with government officers in an ethics or compliance role.
  • Knowledge of commercial, competition, and consumer protection laws is a plus.
  • Proven to execute and oversee execution of projects/programs.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Highly creative, resourceful and thinks out-of-the-box to address ever-evolving priorities/challenges.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, thorough and has a keen eye for detail.
  • Results-driven and able to multi-task.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,500.00 per month
