We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Executive, with expertise in managing day-to-day operational activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations, and coordinating logistics to facilitate timely delivery of inbound and outbound shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
The warehouse has an average of 50,000 SKU of products, with an average of 300 shipments daily (mostly air and land shipments). Support the supervisor in day-to-day operational activities to ensure on-time order fulfilment for both inbound and outbound goods. Plan and assign warehouse tasks to the operations staff, including arranging overtime (OT) to optimize productivity and efficiency. Conduct weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly inventory cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory data. Resolve discrepancies between the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and physical inventory. Manage storage space and capacity for new and existing stocks to ensure efficient storage utilization. Collaborate with other departments such as the Business Unit and Finance to prepare necessary documents to meet business objectives and customer needs. Identify potential hazards and recommend improvements to standard procedures. Submit weekly inventory reports to the superior to investigate discrepancies. Prepare and report on any stock adjustments if required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics Management or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant logistics experience in warehouse operations
- Strong team player with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)
