- Develop and implement banking applications, focusing on channels and payment systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application architecture and interfaces with upstream/downstream systems.
- Conduct impact analysis and propose workaround solutions for service recovery.
- Define monitoring requirements and proactively identify system abnormalities to prevent issues.
- Perform application capacity planning and conduct performance tuning to enhance system efficiency.
- Participate in and conduct regular disaster recovery (DR) simulations and live exercises.
- Maintain effective communication with internal IT teams, business units, operations, and external vendors to ensure alignment and project success.
- Up to 9 years in IT, with 5+ years specializing in programming for channels and payment applications within the banking/financial services industry.
- Proficient in G3 and SWIFT Alliance.
- Strong understanding of 3-tier architecture applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Experience in performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery processes and best practices.
