Business Analyst Manager is responsible for leading a team of IT BA professionals and championing of the BA Guild. This role will work closely with BAs, Architects, Delivery Manager, Delivery Team, Business stakeholders and product owners to drive business analysis process and practice improvements.
BABOK certification (Advantageous) (Required), Six-Sigma Black Belt certification (Advantageous) (Required), University Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or Business Administration (Post Graduate Degree preferred) (Required)
Required Experience:
8 – 12 years’ direct work experience., Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language., Clear understanding of product management and market placement., Demonstrated knowledge of the organization’s core business process and operations., Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources., Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives., Exceptional analytical and statistical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues and products as required., Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products., Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling / mapping, elicitation, modeling, verification, methodology development, and data modeling using BPMN notation., Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts.

Develops new methods and organisational capabilities for requirements management., Identify Analyze and designs business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and exploit new technologies and automation. opportunities to leverage applications to improve business processes, and support business-reengineering efforts, Identify and establish scope and parameters of process analysis in order to define impact, outcome criteria, and measure-taking actions., Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow., Lead in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized., Lead in the selection of any requirements or process documentation software solutions that the organization may opt to use., Leads the implementation and delivery of the organisation's approach to acceptance testing., Maintain repository of organisational business processes., Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary., Manage guidance and / or instruction to junior staff members., Map existing business processes in order to define current business activities for the development of procedures and models., Obtains input from, and agreement to requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders. Negotiates with stakeholders to manage competing priorities and conflicts., Perform cost-benefit and return on investment (ROI) analyses for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions., Plans and leads scoping, requirements definition and priority setting for complex, strategic programmes., Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organization. {+ 1 more}
