Purpose of the Job

The main function of this position is to maximise collections and minimise losses by managing/reducing the arrears in the OK Furniture/House and Home Ledger within his/her team of collectors reporting to him/her by ensuring the productivity of the team meets the set standards.

Reduce/Collect Arrears

Manage train and develop a team of collectors

Set Targets for individuals in team

Monitor and review the performance of each team member

Review Call quality of each team member as per the prescribed guidelines

Activate Non-paying Accounts

Educate Customers to pay Arrears/Keep account up to date

Trace non-contactable customers

Increase Theoretical Collection Rate

Achieve the set standards/targets

Qualifications

Matric/Grade 12

Experience

Previous junior management Experience would be an advantage

Knowledge and Skills

Advanced Working Knowledge: -

In house Programs (UCS)
Excel
Google documents

Sound Working Knowledge: - Credit Bureau Reports
