- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics and Finance) or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in data analysis, data visualisation and dashboard development using MS Power BI
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating calculations and measures
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into easily understandable visuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for workplace interactions.
- Experience with financial data and Investment performance reporting is advantageous
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes are preferred
- Certificate in MS Power BI is advantageous
- Inclination to complete further relevant courses
Experience

- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand report requirements and data sources.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SQL databases into Power BI.
- Design and create interactive, visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Develop and optimize DAX calculations and measures for data analysis.
- Customise and maintain existing dashboards to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data -driven solutions.
- Implement role-level security and data access controls to ensure data confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.

- Provide training and support to clients in using Power BI reports effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with Power BI best practices and industry trends.

Monthly/Daily Tasks
Work with the team to:
- Agree and plan work deliverables and priorities
- Utilise Power BI for daily visualisations
- Use DAX coding for the visualisations setup
- Deal with large quantities of portfolio and market data on a daily basis
- Interrogate and analyse data to produce client reports
- Safeguard the integrity of sensitive client data
- Provide ad hoc analyses and supporting output
- Understand output possibilities of the internal data in order to give new clients correct reporting capabilities.
- Suggesting and generating ideas for improvement of current or development of future technical solutions, tools and platforms
- Identifying shortcomings in current work methods and processes
- Contributing to the establishment of in quality management processes
- Manage their own performance and career by:
- Developing career objectives and goals and pursuing it
- Setting annual work goals and regularly meeting with their line manager to discuss their performance
- Contributing to knowledge sharing and participation in special projects
- Acting as a corporate citizen and participating in organisational discussions, events and innovation
Other Key Relationships
- Assist fellow team members within the immediate team
- Collaborate with Ris Cura teams
- Interact and present the dashboard to clients
