Job Overview:
The Lord Charles Hotel and Conference Centre is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager to lead and elevate our food and beverage operations. Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Somerset West, our property offers luxury accommodation, fine dining, and state-of-the-art conference facilities. The F&B Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences through high-quality service, innovative menu offerings, and efficient operations across all dining outlets, banquets, and events. Must be a South African citizen or have permanent resident status
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banqueting, ensuring high standards of quality and service.
- Guest Experience: Ensure an outstanding guest experience, responding to customer feedback and continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and train a diverse team, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Financial Management: Manage F&B budgets, control costs, and monitor financial performance to achieve revenue targets.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs to create innovative menus that align with our brand and exceed guest expectations.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Education: Diploma or degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in F&B management, with a proven track record in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
