At Mc Cain, we are dedicated to delivering quality agricultural products while maintaining a strong commitment to financial integrity and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a skilled Financial Administrative Support professional to join our team at our Springs Plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide core financial administrative support to Agriculture Vegetables and Finance functions.
- Render financial accounting transactions, ensuring the correctness and verification of invoices.
- Process invoices, capture payments, and manage document filing.
- Collect cash and perform administrative support services.
- Monitor and follow up on debtor accounts, and provide budget support services.
- Capture and allocate financial transactions, compile journals, and clear suspense accounts.
- Collaborate with budget holders to collect information, compare expenditures against budgets, and prepare budget proposals for Financial Manager approval.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in decision-making and effective communication (both verbal and written).
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, and SAP ERP Systems.
- Ability to work accurately and timely with financial data.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Communicate effectively with farmers regarding payment queries.
- Team player, able to interact well with colleagues and management.
- Deadline-driven with the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Diploma in Finance or a related qualification.
