About the Company:
We are the African Medical Assistance branch of a global organization providing support to European insurance companies and their travelers. Our Cape Town office handles insurance and assistance claims with high professional standards in collaboration with other Centers around the world.

Position Overview:
As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing insurance and assistance claims related to medical and travel insurance. You will communicate with policyholders, medical providers, and various stakeholders to ensure the efficient processing of claims from start to finish. The role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail to provide friendly and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Reply to incoming email inquiries related to claims.

Handle claims processing arrangements for medical and travel insurance claims.

Manage the entire claims process, including data entry and invoice assessment.

Ensure efficient and timely responses to customer inquiries.

Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.

Work in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural team environment.

Job Requirements:
Language Skills: Professional fluency in German (level B1 or higher) and English.

Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive, with the ability to perform well under pressure.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential for claims handling.

Adaptability: Flexible and open to ongoing changes and training.

Education: Matric or higher qualification.

Computer Skills: Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office tools.

Visa Requirements: Must already have a secured SA VISA, if applicable.

FSB Registration: An advantage, but not mandatory.

Experience: Previous work experience in Medical Assistance, Insurance, Claims Handling, or Tourism is a plus.

Remuneration:
Basic Salary: R19,000 per month

Medical Aid: Coverage for the employee and up to 2 dependents, paid by the company.
