• Ensure daily operational duties are fulfilled
• Execute customer provisioning and service on-boarding projects

• Participate in after-hours maintenance windows to update, change and install various systems
• Action tickets or faults highlighted by NOC or customers
• Assist Senior Network Engineers with project based tasks
• Proactively implement monitoring metrics to ensure continued visibility
• Proactively action and address items which might affect network performance
• Any other reasonable task

Requirements

• Relevant diploma or degree in IT or vendor related certifications

• 5+ years experience in an ISP or Telco environment
• Experience and knowledge of VMWare and virtualization
• Experience in public cloud environments, eg. AWS/Azure/GCP
• Proficiency with source-control tools (Git Hub, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Familiar with monitoring systems/tools e.g. Netdata/Zabbix/Iris
• Knowledge of a wide variety of network solutions, standards and protocols
• Knowledge of network automation and scripting languages such as Python
• Experience in working with multi-cultured employees
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to take ownership of projects and initiatives with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and is stress tolerant
• Project management experience
• Capacity planning and network optimization experience
• Valid driver license and own transport
