Join Mc Cain as an Experienced Analytics and Insights Professional
Mc Cain is seeking a skilled candidate to deliver commercial analytics and insights across our entire commercial team, including Category, Marketing, Sales, Finance and R&D. This role will support ad-hoc research projects to inform strategic business decisions. If you are passionate about analytics and eager to drive business value, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
- Regular, accurate analytics relevant to the various stakeholders
- Ad-hoc analytics as requested by the team
- Proactively identifying and addressing areas for analytics
- Developing new data sources
- Build strong relationship with research partners
Qualification and experience
- Understanding of FMCG and Food Service categories and how the data for these is generated
- 5+ years of experience in the FMCG and/or Food service industries
- Experience in analytics of a variety of data sources
- Experience in using Excel and BI tools for reporting, analysis, data cleaning and data management
- Excellent working knowledge of how the FMCG and Food Service industries work
- Excellent working knowledge of the data and systems available in the FMCG and Food Service industries in South Afrika
- Strong business acumen
