Your Role:
As the Senior Pastry Chef, you'll be the creative force behind the dessert menu, ensuring every dish is a delightful masterpiece! Your responsibilities will include:

Lead the Kitchen: Work closely with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to manage kitchen operations and uphold the lodge's high culinary standards.
Craft Exceptional Desserts: Design and create mouth-watering pastries and desserts that align with the lodge’s food concept, delivering an unforgettable dining experience.
Quality Control: Supervise food production to ensure hygiene and quality standards are consistently met.
Train & Inspire: Share your knowledge and passion by training kitchen staff, fostering an environment of growth and creativity.
Sustainability Champion: Implement waste-reduction strategies and maintain health and safety protocols to support the lodge's sustainability efforts.

What You Bring:
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a similar kitchen environment, with a solid understanding of pastry techniques and menu design.
Passion for Pastry: A love for the culinary arts and a drive to continually improve and innovate.
Leadership Skills: Ability to oversee and train a team, while maintaining a positive kitchen atmosphere.
Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for presentation and quality.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments.
